Elecnor Deimos showcases its latest
research in navigation technologies
at the ESA navitec 2016 conference

Elecnor Deimos participates this week, 14-16 December, in the European Space Agency (ESA) navitec 2016. Taking place at the Space Research and Technology Centre of the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, it represents  the 8th  edition of this navigation conference hosted by ESA, in coordination with CNES, DLR, and the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich.

The objective of navitec 2016 is to provide an open forum for space and terrestrial satellite navigation technology designers, developers, integrators, users, universities and agency representatives. The conference focuses on  navigation technologies and techniques leading to significant enhancement of the user performance, enablers for future applications, and solutions for challenging environments.

Elecnor Deimos is presenting three papers, showcasing its latest research in navigation technologies

Deimos is presenting three papers during the conference, showcasing its latest applied research in navigation technologies and applications of Galileo signals:

  • COREGAL: Targeting Biomass Applications with Galileo E5 Reflected Signals. Presented by João S. Silva (Deimos Engenharia).
  • Utilisation of UAVs for validation of space mission oriented INS/GNSS navigator: Development and utilization of DAHNA in PERIGEO project. Presented by Mariano Wis (Deimos Space).
  • AGGA-4 Navigation Software Development Framework: Overview and Test Results for LEO, GEO and HEO Missions. Presented by João S. Silva (Deimos Engenharia).
