DEIMOS has been engaged to research conjunction analysis (CA) methods and protocols on behalf of the UK Space Agency (please find here the UK Space Agency letter of support). The CAPROS project is intended to provide a comprehensive list of CA processes with clear identification of data and methods used in each of them, operational status and map to user feedback when possible. We plan to identify the most relevant limitations in view of current and expected future needs.
In this context, we are conducting surveys on Conjunction Analysis and Avoidance (CA) aspects. Whether you are a satellite operator, an SSA/SST data provider or a space debris analyst developing algorithms, methodologies or tools, your inputs are invaluable.
This will allow us to put together the satellite operators’ needs, data providers’ capabilities, and trends in methodologies and tools with the aim of identifying possible future collaboration opportunities among stakeholders.

In order to gather the necessary information, we kindly ask you, as stakeholders, to fill out the following surveys. We have carefully tailored these surveys with dedicated questions based on your interest in CA. You may work in several of these fields (for example a Space agency providing SSA services and developing their own tools), so please feel free to fill in several of the forms, and do not hesitate to contact us for any clarification you may need.
The answers to the survey forms will not be publicly available. The information you provide will only be shared with UKSA and the Deimos staff directly involved in the project. If you have any concerns about confidentiality please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are interested in a face-to-face or telephone interview instead of (or as well as) using the survey forms, please do not hesitate to contact Noelia Sánchez-Ortiz, Project Manager of this activity (noelia.sanchez@deimos-space.com).
In case you would like to complement your answers with a dedicated discussion, please indicate that at the dedicated question within the forms so we can organize a teleconference or meeting.
For any other comments, queries or concerns please feel free to get in touch with our CAPROS team.
We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey.
Please use the following links to the most appropriate survey for your case:

Satellite operators | If you are a satellite operator, this is your survey form. You can use this form if you are currently operating spacecrafts or you plan to do so in the near future. If you operate (or plan to operate) other infrastructure in space (i.e. Launcher, or In-orbit Service platforms), and you may require CA information, this form is also suitable for your use case. |
